I am new to this, so be patient. I am starting this blog to talk about jerky and it's healthy benefits for children & adults. Let me say up front I am the CEO of a jerky production company in Texas, called Whittington's Jerky. www.whittingtonsjerky.com Our family has been making jerky for nearly 50 years and have seen just about everything, when it comes to jerky.
We have always carried products that were healthy. Our list of ingredients is only 5 items. That is the way jerky was suppose to be.
Two years ago we developed an All Natural jerky both in beef & pork. We were so proud of it, we put pictures of our kids on the front of the package. No Hormones, No Antibiotics, no Glutens, No MSG, No Nitrite, just good flavor. When given a choice for a snack I hope that kids are offered a quality jerky like this.
Anyway, I do get carried away when it comes to my company. I am proud of it and it shows.
This blog is to talk about jerky and maybe answer any questions that are out there about this great snack.

ReplyDeleteTechnically you and I are related somewhere down the line. I am married to Horace's grandson Robb. I recently found out that I am allergic to gluten and have been looking for a high protein snack that is free of all the "junk." Robb and I stopped in your store 2 years ago when we went to Fredericksburg over New Years. GREAT to see that your jerky is gluten free! I'll be placing an order soon! Have a Merry Christmas!
